A high school basketball coach was killed after a crash and hit and run in northern Williamsburg County.?
It happened just after?6:30 Monday night on Highway 52 near the intersection with Cade Road, just outside the Cades community.?
Williamsburg County Coroner Harrison McKnight identified the victim as 39 year old Sonya T. Burgess. Ms. Burgess was the coach of the Lady Jags varsity basketball and volleyball teams at Kingstree Senior High School.?
